Nutrition & Wellness

Latinos are more likely to have poor nutrition and lack access to enough healthy food. As a result, the Latino community disproportionately suffers from chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.

We partner with community organizations to promote healthy eating, connect people to local resources to reduce hunger, and boost awareness of programs on nutrition and disease prevention in the Latino community. We also focus on building health care and wellness policies and programs that take culture and community-specific needs into account.
