More Latino children have coverage thanks to the ACA.
Achieving coverage for all
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is one of the most significant health policies in our nation’s history and holds great promise for Latinos. While progress has been made under the law to reduce the number of uninsured people, about one in four Latinos remain uninsured.
Achieving the highest level of health for all is necessary for a sustainable, cost-effective health care system and to uphold our nation’s values of fairness, justice, and equal opportunity.
