Civil Rights & Criminal Justice

Leading the country toward greater equity

We promote a civil rights policy agenda that confronts threats to voting rights, housing and employment discrimination, racial profiling, and disparities in key areas such as access to technology.

We support criminal justice system reform that decreases the disproportionate number of Latinos in the juvenile and adult systems, creates more opportunities to prevent youth from falling in the system, leads to fairer sentencing, encourages rehabilitation, and reduces reincarceration.
