NCLR staff and members of the California NCLR Affiliate Network (CNAN) discussed the following issues with representatives from the offices of 29 California State legislators, including the office of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger:

• Preschool for All
• Academic Preparation and Educational Partnerships ("outreach" programs) within the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) systems
• Single Block Grant of Cal WORKS, California Food Assistance Program (CFAP), Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants (CAPI), and Healthy Families
• Cap Enrollments for Medi-Cal and Healthy Families
• Driver's Licenses
