Calli Ollin Academy
Calli Olin Academy is a charter school corporation dedicated to the betterment of educational outcomes for all students. The school’s focus is on populations that have been seriously underrepresented by the educational system. The Academy operates three charter high schools: Calli Olin Academy, Toltecalli Academy, and Itzcalli Academy. To emphasize the cultural focus of the schools, each school was given a name in Nahuatl, the language of the Aztecs. The school programs are designed to focus on increasing academic achievement, engaging and positively affecting the community, and demonstrating relevancy to the served community. Programs include Mexican American Studies, back to basics, college transition, and vocational transition in addition to case management/student advocacy, special education, and academic advising and counseling. |
