Vecinos Unidos, Inc. was founded in 1992. Vecinos is a neighborhood association that identifies community problems and learns how to achieve solutions to issues such as housing, security, public services (streets, animal protection, parks, garbage, and postal service), education, health, and economic development. Vecinos Unidos concentrates its limited resources on developing affordable single-family homeownership for those families who are first-time homebuyers and who earn significantly below the median income in the City of Dallas.
