Texas Migrant Council (TMC) began operations in 1969 as a leading advocate nonprofit organization committed to providing quality services to families and children. TMC continues to operate in different parts of the country where migrant families work in agriculture. The delivery of services includes cultural and linguistic sensitivity and continuity of care. The Texas Workforce Commission has recently joined the auspices of the Texas Migrant Council.
