The Montebello Housing Development Corporation (MHDC) is a nonprofit corporation founded in 1992. Their goal is to provide affordable housing through the offering of a variety of programs and opportunities. MHDC’s focus is on housing and economic development opportunities associated with housing. Some of the products MHDC offers include: second mortgage loans, housing development, and rehabilitation. MHDC also offers a lease-to-purchase homeownership program, homeownership education classes, and an advocacy program that keeps housing issues at the forefront of local awareness.
