Founded in 1982, the Committee for Hispanic Children and Families (CHCF) offers programs and develops policies that nurture children and advocate on their behalf. Programs include community education, a teen HIV/AIDS awareness program, adoption opportunities for Latino families and children, Family Day Care Training, as well as extensive research, advocacy, and policy development on the health and welfare of Latino children. CHCF is the only Latino child care resource and referral service in New York City. CHCF offers consultant services in cross-cultural training, with an emphasis on Hispanic culture.
