The Housing America Corporation (HAC) was founded in 1976 and promotes the social welfare of Yuma and Mohave County residents through the development, renovation, and provision of housing for very low-, low-, and moderate-income families. HAC provides affordable housing through farm labor and Section 8 multifamily units, self-help housing projects, and a forgivable grant program offering downpayment and closing cost subsidies.
